Nordic Circles nominated for WCI 2021

It has only been one year since the establishment of Nordic Circles, but the company has already received recognition from Fast Company, which annually nominates "world changing ideas". We are relieved that the idea of reducing CO2 emissions from the construction industry by making steel products from discontinued oil platforms and ships has already become a reality.

- Nordic Circles' ambition is to upcycle steel from obsolete ships and platforms to steel for construction and buildings. This is how we will create a new industry in Western Norway and reduce climate emissions from two of the worst CO2-emitting industries, namely the construction industry and the commissioning of oil rigs and ships, says founder and chairman of Nordic Circles, Fredrik Barth.
